The DL7000 is an interface between Ethernet/IP or AB Ethernet to DH+. This latest release allows an AB PLC like a SLC 5/05 to access the DH+ network.The DL7000 will allow AB Ethernet PLC (MicroLogix, SLC 5/05, CompactLogix, FlexLogix, PLC-5E, ControlLogix) to send either read or write MSG to any DH+ PLC (SLC 5/04, PLC-5).
The DL7000 main functionality is to allow Ethernet/IP devices to interface to DH+ nodes. The will allow provide AB users with an alternative to the ControlLogix (Ethernet/IP and DHRIO module). |

Why would I go with your

PLC5s) to Ethernet/IP?

Cost. You only
need one DL7000-DH+/IAP
per DH+. You don't have to upgrade each PLC5 processor on
DH+ to a PLC5E . This can save significant money if you have
a big DH+ Network. This functionality allows RSLinx/RSLogix
on Ethernet/IP have access to all the nodes on your DH+.
